Rebecca is a Deputy Editor at STELLAR magazine at VIP Publishing. She started out in a media course that she didn't really like. It wasn't really technical or hands-on as she'd have liked it to be, she was itching to be working as soon as possible, not learning years and years of theory! She started following people in media that she really loved on Twitter and slowly, people would follow back. She had two friends working in Her.ie who recommended her for an internship, and her career in media took off from there. Since then, she's worked for Her, JOE, The Irish Post in London, LovinDublin, in a marketing firm in New York and now is working her dream job, deputy editor at STELLAR magazine. Her one golden nugget of advice is never underestimate the power of networking!
