Niamh Comber – Director of DNG Nationwide

When Niamh was 15 years old she was in Transition year and believe it or not one of her weeks of work experience was in the DNG office in Naas, Co. Kildare.

When Niamh completed her leaving certificate, she did not achieve enough points to undertake the course in DIT she had applied for so she completed a 1 year PLC course in Ballsbridge College of Further Education.

In 2006, Niamh took her first job in the property industry – as a junior lettings negotiator in Wyse – one of the largest property management companies in Dublin. While Niamh worked within the company, she was promoted to senior lettings negotiator while at the same time undertaking a part-time property course in DIT over the course of 2 years.

In 2013 Niamh started working in DNG as a Junior Asset Manager. As the years passed, she was promoted to a Senior Asset Manager position and shortly thereafter, in 2015, moved to join the DNG Valuation Department. The department started as a small team of 3 but over the course of 4 years, Niamh grew the department in her role as Team Leader to a team of 10 valuers and administration staff supported by DNG’s 80 office Nationwide network.

In October 2019, Niamh was appointed as Director of DNG Nationwide – DNG’s Franchise division. Niamh’s role is to grow and develop the franchise brand by helping new and existing franchise partners take control of their businesses by implementing proven procedures, technology & industry standards and streamlining processes.

Niamh is a Registered Valuer and an associate member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland - SCSI, the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors - RICS and the Institute of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers - IPAV.

Niamh lives in Wicklow with her Partner James and two cats Pippi and Poppy, loves good food and wine and is loving working from home but is looking forward to a blended office / home balance later in 2021.
