Kristina has always been fascinated by impactful businesses. She still remembers spending cold Siberian nights reading about new emerging companies shaping new ways of living across the globe. During her last year at uni, Kristina joined a family business as a partnership manager handling relations with international partners in Hong Kong. At some point, it felt as if she was taking on someone else's journey, and she wanted to create her own. So Kristina moved to Moscow at the age of 23 and started her first corporate job in a Swedish educational company, where she soon received the Employee of the Year award. After a few years of non-stop career climbing, she realized there is another way of contributing to the world, and she moved closer to the sun, to Spain, and then to Portugal. That was when Kristina entered a remote world of startups and also started working in EdTech. For the last 6 years she has been launching products, leading projects, and building teams from scratch.

When the flOasis (a marketplace for remote workers) idea came alive, all the pieces finally fell together: her role as a co-founder and CEO combined her background in operations, business unit launches, and passion for exploration. It took her 1.5 years to build her own company from zero to one and another 6 months to sell it.
