Fiona is the Managing Director of Resolve Careers. With over 25 years' experience in international financial services leadership roles, she has successfully built and led high performing teams in multiple organizations and through changing economic cycles. She has held progressively senior executive roles including Co-Head of Blackstone Credit (formerly GSO) European office and Head of European Credit Research team. She spent her first 5 formative years in New York in AIB and ANZ Bank where she learned the value of having a strong work ethic and understanding office politics. Subsequently, Bank of Ireland provided a rich learning environment and allowed her to develop her leadership skills. Harbourmaster & Blackstone Credit flat organisational structures and breath of talent was an invigorating and exciting environment to excel in. Being a woman and a mother in these environments had its challenges but Fiona believes this also made her extremely efficient with her time, resilient and allowed her to provide a distinctive perspective to work situations. When she reflects on her finance career, she remembers the struggles and wins in equal measure.
