Patricia is a full-time coach and lecturer in leadership. As a former senior executive in Financial Services, Patricia has climbed many mountains throughout her career. She launched her Financial Services career in a world coloured with red ties and blue pinstripe suits in the city of London during the late 1980s. Finding herself positioned in a predominantly male environment became one of her greatest learning opportunities. She realised that women in business have to take greater risks to succeed and have the confidence to break through the glass ceiling. Patricia started to mentor and develop those females on her team who rose through the ranks behind her. Returning to Ireland in the 1990s, she became involved with training and education with individuals working in the Financial Services industry. She loved the classroom and all the development and learning it brought. Her journey has provided he with a Master’s in Learning and Teaching, Diploma in Executive Coaching and Diploma in Corporate Wellbeing.
Patricia learned resilience in the face of adversity when diagnosed with a neurological disorder that required her to leave full time employment, she refused to give up and became self -employed. Being self-employed and outside of the mainstream workplaces taught her skills that have become invaluable to her own self development. She has a number of passions in life, one is learning and development and she loves to share ideas and experience.
Patricia's other passion is supporting females (Nextgen to CEO level) in the workplace to step up into new
and exciting leadership positions with the knowledge that they have the ability and only require a
sounding board or some direction. As a full-time Coach and Lecturer in Leadership (UCD Professional
Academy), she support women to transform and transition into Senior Leadership roles.
