Donatella is the founder of The Mindful Body. Her mission through The Mindful Body is to create a safe, compassionate and non-judgmental space for women to work on their relationship with food and their body. She supports women to make peace with food, without dieting. Every woman has the right to experience the joy of eating, in a way that feels good to their body, dropping the guilt, worry or shame around food. Her passion for human behaviour brought her to achieve a MSc in Psychology and become a registered Psychologist. Later in life, this same passion was nurtured by studying to be a certified Life and Executive Coach. She now combines this passion with the desire to help other women thrive and live a healthy life, breaking free from bingeing and emotional eating. Her personal challenges and direct experience of these issues are what can really make a difference when helping other women.
The opportunity to connect with women with a similar story to hers, is what makes her so passionate to do what she does, with kindness, authenticity and putting trust at the centre.
Having worked in the corporate environment for 8 years, she also has a great understanding of the challenges women encounter in creating a work-life balance which truly supports their wellbeing, both physical and mental. The Mindful Body has taken its first steps in March 2020.
Since then, she has connected with and supported so many inspiring and strong women. She gets emotional any time she thinks about how this sharing has made her life so meaningful and showed her this is what she was always meant to do.
