Ann Tehan is the founder of AnniePooh.ie, an Eco-Living shop. With a background in nursing, and four children, Ann balances an exciting life of being a full-time mother and an entrepreneur. Ann set the store up nine years ago, after her daughter had bad eczema so explored the idea of cloth nappies to avoid any chemicals going on her delicate skin. After finding it hard to source them in Ireland, AnniePooh was born! Although it started out as eco baby products as her babies grew, so did AnniePooh! As Ann found the need to find alternatives for other single use, chemical free items in her house, AnniePooh became an eco-shop for everyone. As a busy Mum, Ann wanted easy alternatives to single-use so that’s what she offers at AnniePooh. Their mission is to make it easy for their customers to live a more eco-friendly life. They buy Irish sourced products as much as possible and at the moment, they’re lucky enough to have 28 Irish businesses supplying them! Last December, Ann was thrilled to open her own shop in Greystone, a bit of a dream for her! The local community welcomed AnniePooh with open arms.
